Sorry for the contraversial and depressing subject but I saw this and really felt the need to say something . Reblog with your thoughts , this issue is not talked about enough! No before you start this one isn’t actually photoshopped!!
I am ignorant in the way that I have no idea what this model’s name is . However it’s clear that she must be going through hell . I have no idea why people employ people this skinny [1]Most people think about how skinny the girl is and not the clothes they are promoting or how good the photographers shot is . [2]It really sends out the wrong message!!
I myself know people who have had eating disorders , not to this extreme though . I’m not blaming models like these , don’t get me wrong , I know there are other social factors aswell but really I meen the media needs to wise up! Why use people like this anymore , I’m not being harsh but it isn’t normal , this is not how we were supposed to develop as humans .
That girl is probably going through hell . What is her manager doing to her?? Why do employers bother it is only making her think it is more acceptable to be this skinny . Why don’t they think about the impact it is having on young girls?

Anorexia as we all know is most likley to start in teenage years , the years where we are conscious of our image . Clearly flicking through magazines and seeing things like this are not helping!! ”Anorexia affects approximately 1 in 150 fifteen-year-old females, and 1 in 1000 fifteen-year-old males.” With statistics like this in the U.K alone why is the media not taking responsibility .
There is a difference between being healthy and being skinny! These are the first signs of anorexia effecting your body , do they sound healthy to you?
Loss of menstrual periods
Lack of energy and weakness
Feeling cold all the time
Dry, yellowish skin
Constipation and abdominal pain
Restlessness and insomnia
Dizziness, fainting, and headaches
Growth of fine hair all over the body and face
On the same website I found this .

Did anyone buy Heat this week?Even in there it was talking about anorexia . Victoria Beckham has employed ”Pro anorexia” model Eugenia Mandzhieva to wear her clothes on her 2010 Autumn / Winter RTW range .

This model is seen as some sort of poster girl on websites that encourage anorexia . Victoria should have done her homework because personally I think it’s sick how you can encourage someone to become anorexic . The more you give people like this jobs the more you promote being skinny . Ok I meen they have to live so they need jobs but why not draw a line atleast . I’ll hire you if you put on this much etc or I won’t hire someone under whatever weight .
Seriously does no one else think the media has a responsibility!?

I’m pretty sure that this particular picture is photoshopped, but that doesn’t make it any less true - many anorexics DO look like this, and it’s so terribly sad.

It’s not photoshopped, it’s an actual model. I can’t remember her name, but she does actually look like that.

It IS photoshopped. She actually doesn’t look much different normally though.
